M550 SPF system

The system comprises of a CamSpec M550 double beam scanning SPF spectrophotometer, controlled by a PC with CamSpec SPF Windows™  software and an integrating sphere installed. The system is both versatile and easy to use.

Reflectance Sphere

This instrument can be used as a conventional double beam scanning spectrophotometer by removing the sphere, reference attenuator and replacing the plug at the rear of the cell compartment.

The Sun UV Penetration system for fabrics has been designed specifically for analysts working in the fabric industry, who need an accurate and reliable method of determining the sun blocking properties of fabrics for the important UV-A and UV-B wavelengths

The purpose designed integrating sphere, which meets the requirements of international standards, efficiently collects all the scattered radiation transmitted by the fabric.  The Opdima surface has a very high reflectivity throughout the UV-R region, diffusely reflecting the radiation on to a solid state detector mounted at the top of the sphere.
